Horgan Properties, established in 2002 by Mary Horgan, Valuer and Estate Agent, and member of the IPAV, has served the north Kerry and west Limerick areas during periods of exceptional growth and unprecedented economic decline. Approaching its 10th year, it is clear that the world we live in has changed, and the demands of business and our clients have changed also. This new economic reality has lead to the expansion of the business.

Horgan Auctions, located next door at 6 The Square, will provide a much needed service to the people in the Kerry and Limerick regions, and beyond in the years ahead.

It has been a long time since an Auction House service has been available in the north Kerry area. There is a wealth of local treasures of historical significance offered for sale outside the immediate north Kerry area. These important books, pictures and antiques, which are relevant to our local heritage, can now be offered for sale in the locality, and stand a greater chance of remaining in the area.

Opening an Auction Room is a natural progression for the business, and hopefully will contribute to the business life of Listowel, and prove to be a welcome and important addition to the town. Listowel has evolved and grown over the last twenty years, but it has succeeded in remaining a friendly, attractive and enjoyable experience for both residents and visitors.
